I am Marija Vučić, a painter from Banja Luka whose artistic journey has spanned more than a decade.
My passion for painting began in early childhood, and through training at the Atelier Pećarić school of painting, oil on canvas became my primary and recognisable medium.
My body of work, numbering more than two hundred paintings, is dominated by realism – from emotive portraits and graceful animal subjects (especially horses), through landscapes and sacred architecture, to spiritual and historical figures.
I see reproductions of the great world masters as a special challenge and an opportunity to learn, one that lets me keep refining my technique.
Alongside my art, I am committed to building a professional career in economics and accounting, which makes my path in life and work broader, more dynamic and authentic.
